Acrylic Felt: Is a synthetic fabric made from acrylic fibers which is basically plastic.

This fiber became a choice for my projects when I was in college learning about art. This was the medium that I could afford as a single parent. Since then I have accumulated a lot of felt due to many projects. I have created felt educational materials for daycares and parents, illustrations for self-publishing book authors, stop motion book promos, crafts for kids and so much more. Currently I'm working on a body of work that includes male and female art celebrating hair.

In attempt to prevent my felt scraps that I've accumulated for over 9 years from being in the land fill I've decided to create art that can be displayed for years to come with all of my remaining scraps.
